About Bharatiya Sanskriti and Sampradaya

Bharatiya Sanskriti and Sampradaya (BSS) is a cultural organisation based in Reading, United Kingdom. Established to serve the Indian diaspora and the wider community, BSS is founded upon three core pillars — Civilisation, Culture, and Community. Through these guiding principles, the organisation is dedicated to preserving and promoting the timeless wisdom of Bharatiya civilisation, celebrating the richness and diversity of Indian culture, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive community rooted in shared values, spirituality, and heritage. BSS seeks to create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families to connect with the profound traditions of Bharat while strengthening cultural identity and intergenerational continuity in modern society.

BSS maintains a deep spiritual association with Sringeri Sharada Peetham and reveres the sacred Guru Parampara. The organisation strives to nurture and sustain the living traditions of Indian classical arts, music, dance, language, yoga, devotion, and Vedic learning for present and future generations, while creating a platform for cultural exchange, spiritual enrichment, and community engagement.

Through regular cultural events, spiritual programmes, educational initiatives, and community gatherings across Reading and Berkshire, BSS brings together families, artists, devotees, and seekers, fostering a strong sense of cultural identity, belonging, and shared values. From classical music and dance performances to festival celebrations and Vedic discourses, BSS warmly welcomes all who wish to experience and connect with the timeless heritage of Bharat.
